Holly Madison: From the Girls Next Door to Telling It Her Way
Most people met Holly Madison through a reality show that made the Playboy Mansion look like a sleepover. She has spent the years since explaining what it really felt like.
Born in Oregon and raised partly in Alaska, she became a bestselling author, a Las Vegas showrunner, a podcast host and, more recently, a creator who runs her own page.
Life after the mansion
She left the mansion, moved to Las Vegas, wrote candid memoirs and now co-hosts a podcast about the era with Bridget Marquardt. She raises two kids and talks openly about her autism diagnosis.
In the headlines
She called the mansion cult-like. In a new round of interviews she described how Hefner ran the house with rules and group nights that, in her view, were about him feeling relevant rather than about the women. Source: Fox News, May 11, 2026
Her haunted house is for rent. Holly put her storybook-style Los Angeles home on the rental market at about $9,500 a month, the same house she once had checked for paranormal activity. Source: Realtor.com, Aug 24, 2026
Body image in the mansion years. She has said the constant comparison in the house left her with body dysmorphia that took years to unpack. Source: People, Nov 16, 2023
Why follow her
She is warm, a bit spooky (she loves haunted houses) and fully in control of her image now. Her page is where she shares glamour without a network deciding the angle.
