AI 'Comedians' Are Stealing Real Jokes to Sell OnlyFans and Fanvue Subs: What Real Creators Should Know
The newest promo "hack" on Instagram isn't a hot girl telling jokes. It's a hot girl who doesn't exist, telling jokes that someone else wrote.
What happened
According to the Riverfront Times (October 7, 2026) and Gizmodo:
- AI-generated Instagram accounts are taking real stand-up clips, running them through AI and swapping in a different (very curated) body, then posting them as short "live comedy" videos.
- The best-known one, Tiffany Sloane (@tiffany.bbyx), started posting on September 11 and had about 375,000 followers and 124 posts by October 5, with millions of views, according to a16z partner Justine Moore, who called it "a genius OnlyFans marketing hack."
- The account's highlights link to an OnlyFans page; another account using a stolen joke pointed to Fanvue, which allows AI creators if they disclose it.
- Working comics, including Olivia Carter and George Brett Olson, say their sets (and even outfits) were copied, and that reporting the accounts on Instagram went nowhere.
Why you should care (even if you're not a comedian)
- Your content can be next. If a bot can lift a Netflix comic's bit, it can lift your Reels, your captions and your face. Watermark, keep your originals, and file takedowns fast.
- The rules are on your side, on paper. As the Riverfront Times explains, OnlyFans requires AI content to belong to a verified creator, clearly feature that creator, and carry an AI label, and the terms taking effect November 1 reinforce it. A fully synthetic performer doesn't fit that framework.
- Fanvue allows AI creators, with disclosure. Different platform, different rules. Know which one you're on.
- Authenticity is your edge. Fans can get infinite fake girls. They can't get you. Lean into real voice notes, real behind-the-scenes, real personality.
Quick checklist
- Watermark your short-form clips with your handle.
- Keep dated originals of everything you post (proof for takedowns).
- If you use AI tools yourself, label it. Under the new OnlyFans terms, that isn't optional.
- Search your best bits now and then (reverse image search, TikTok/IG search) to catch copies early.

FAQ
Is AI content allowed on OnlyFans?
According to reporting on the platform's rules, AI content on OnlyFans must belong to a verified creator, clearly feature that creator and be labeled as AI. A fully AI-generated performer with no verified creator doesn't fit those rules.
Does Fanvue allow AI creators?
Yes. Fanvue permits AI creators as long as the AI nature of the account is disclosed.
What can I do if someone steals my content to promote their page?
Keep dated originals, report the account on the platform where it's posted, file a copyright (DMCA) takedown, and warn your fans on your own channels.
