Uncove vs Subs: Which Platform Should New Creators Choose?
If you sell subscriptions online, putting everything on one platform is a risk. A policy change, a payment problem or a ban can cut your income overnight. That is why more creators are looking at a second page, and two names keep coming up for US creators right now: Uncove and Subs.
This guide compares them using only what their own terms and help centers say, plus reputable press coverage, as checked in October 2026. Where a number is not published, we say so instead of guessing.
The short answer
Both platforms keep a 20% standard fee, so you receive 80% of what fans pay. Choose Subs if you want USD payouts you can withdraw from $50 and a platform built around well-known talent. Choose Uncove if you are comfortable with a monthly bank transfer in euros and want access to its promoter and referral tools. Many creators will end up using both.

Fees: the same headline number
Subs' terms of service state that the platform charges creators 20% of all payments made by subscribers, excluding VAT, and that the remaining 80% is payable to the creator. Uncove's help center says it applies a 20% commission on sales by default.
The detail that differs is promotion. On Uncove, when a sale comes from a promoter who advertised your account, the total commission on that transaction is 30%, so you keep 70% of it. That extra 10% pays the promoter, which can be a fair trade if it brings fans you would not have reached alone.
Card and banking fees for fans are shown at checkout on Uncove and are paid by the fan, according to its help center. Your share is calculated on the price you set.
Getting paid
This is where the two platforms really differ.
Subs holds recent earnings for a short period, then moves them to your available balance. Once that balance reaches $50, you can request a withdrawal. Its terms say payouts may take up to seven business days, including compliance checks. Before your first withdrawal you need to upload a government ID and, if you are in the US, sign a W-9 so the platform can report payouts to the IRS.
Uncove pays automatically by bank transfer on the first day of each month for the previous month, once your balance reaches €50. If you do not reach the minimum, the balance rolls over. There is no on-demand withdrawal, so plan your cash flow around a monthly payday.
For a US creator, Subs' USD balance is simpler to manage. If you bank in euros or already plan monthly, Uncove's rhythm is not a problem.
Who is behind each platform
Subs.com was co-founded by Tim Stokely, who also co-founded OnlyFans. On October 9, 2026, the company announced through PR Newswire that actress Megan Fox had become a co-owner and launched her official page there, with more celebrities expected to join. The platform positions itself around established talent who want more control over their content and audience.
Uncove is a French creator platform that offers subscriptions, paid media, tips and messaging, with a dedicated adult space. Its promoter system and referral program are designed to help creators grow through partners.
Referral programs
Both platforms reward creators who bring in other creators. Uncove publishes its rate: referrers earn 10% of the earnings generated by the creators they refer, paid monthly, and that 10% comes from Uncove's share, not from the referred creator. Subs' terms mention a referral programme that can affect the fee split; its exact rate is not stated in the sections we reviewed, so check your dashboard before relying on it.
How to choose
- You want fast, USD withdrawals: Subs.
- You want promoter tools and do not mind monthly payouts: Uncove.
- You already have a main platform: open one of these as your backup, then move a small part of your audience with a clear announcement.
- You are brand new: start with one, learn your prices with our free 30-day pricing plan, then add the second when your routine is stable.
Moving fans without losing them
Do not ask fans to switch. Ask them to follow you in a second place. Offer something specific on the new page, such as a weekly behind-the-scenes post, and announce it on your social profiles with one clear link. Keep your prices consistent across platforms so nobody feels they paid more for the same thing. Our guide on link-in-bio pages explains how to send fans to several platforms from one link.

FAQ
Which pays creators more, Uncove or Subs?
Under their standard terms both pay creators 80% of fan payments. On Uncove the share drops to 70% for sales that come through a promoter. The real difference is how you get paid: Uncove pays by bank transfer once a month, Subs lets you withdraw from $50.
Can I use Uncove and Subs at the same time?
Neither platform's terms that we reviewed require exclusivity, so many creators run two pages to spread risk. Check the current terms of each platform before you start.
Is Subs the same company as OnlyFans?
No. Subs.com was co-founded by Tim Stokely, who also co-founded OnlyFans, but it is a separate platform with its own terms.
What do I need to get paid on Subs?
Its help center lists identity verification, accurate bank details and, for US creators, a signed W-9 tax form. The minimum withdrawal is $50.
How does the Uncove referral program work?
Uncove pays referrers 10% of the earnings of the creators they refer. That commission comes from Uncove's share, so the referred creator earns the same amount.
