OnlyFans' New Terms Start November 1: What Can Freeze a Creator's Earnings, and What You Really Pay For
You pay a girl every month on OnlyFans. From November 1, 2026, the rules behind that payment change, and two things matter to you: how easily her money can be frozen, and what you are actually signing up for when you click Subscribe or start a trial.
We read the new Terms of Use ourselves, at onlyfans.com/terms2026, marked "Last updated: October 2026", and compared them with the August 2024 version still shown at onlyfans.com/terms. Here is what it means for fans, in plain English. We first flagged the update in our October 6 note; this is the full read.
When does it start?
The official page gives a month, not a day. The November 1 start date comes from an email OnlyFans sent creators, as reported by the Riverfront Times and relayed by FanChecked. Keep using the site after that and you accept the new text.
What can now freeze a creator's earnings
OnlyFans could already pause an account and hold a creator's money during a review. What changed is how little it takes. Under the new section on suspensions, OnlyFans can act "at any time, without warning or Notice and for as long as is necessary to review the relevant facts" if:
- It thinks she "has or may have breached" the terms. The 2024 text said "seriously or repeatedly breached". Those two words are gone, so one suspected slip is enough.
- She threatens a breach with serious consequences, or OnlyFans suspects the money comes from fraud, including fraud by the fan who paid. Both triggers existed before.
- Something could hurt OnlyFans' reputation. New: any action it thinks is likely to cause a loss or "harm the reputation of OnlyFans or any of our Users".
- She answers too slowly. New: not "promptly" providing information OnlyFans asks for.
After the review, OnlyFans can delete the account and treat earnings as forfeited. The creator has six months to dispute it, and the new text says that has to be done "in writing". No maximum length is set for the review itself.

Why a frozen account is your problem too
The same clause says that during a review OnlyFans may "pause User Payments which would have been due during the suspension period" and "suspend, refund, or cancel User Payments". In other words, if the girl you follow is put under review, your renewal can be paused, refunded or cancelled. The text does not promise you a refund either way.
Separately, OnlyFans can now close any account "with 30 days' Notice, at any time, for any reason". A page can go dark without the creator doing anything wrong.
The practical move: follow her somewhere else too, on X, Telegram or a second platform, so you can find her if her page disappears.
What you pay for as a fan
This is the part most fans skip, and it is where the new text is most explicit.
- Renewals are automatic. A subscription renews "at the current rate (plus any applicable Tax)" unless you cancel before the renewal date. The terms add that "you may not be Notified of a Subscription renewal".
- No refunds. "All Subscriptions are non-refundable." If OnlyFans closes your fan account for breaking the rules, prepaid subscriptions "may not be refunded".
- A price rise stops the auto charge. If the creator raises her price, the renewal is not charged automatically. Worth knowing before you panic over a bank line.
- Failed payments get retried. If a charge fails, OnlyFans may retry the same card "on multiple occasions" and may use another payment method saved on your account.
- Currency costs. Prices are typically charged in USD. Prices shown in your local currency "may include currency conversion fees and processing costs".
- Wallet credits do not split. If a purchase costs more than your remaining credits, your card is charged the full price, not the difference.
- Chargebacks are risky. Unjustified refund or chargeback requests can get your fan account suspended or deleted.
New: OnlyFans' own paid services and trials
The 2026 text creates "Direct Services": features or digital products sold by OnlyFans itself, not by creators. They can come with a "Trial", free or discounted for a set period.
The catch: if you do not cancel before the trial ends, it "will automatically convert into a paid Subscription". OnlyFans can also "modify, end or pause a Trial at any time without Notice". Prices for these services "will vary and will be displayed at checkout". Read that screen before you tap.
Cancelling stays simple
You can cancel any time with "Unsubscribe" on her page, or by writing to support@onlyfans.com. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid, and nothing more is taken.
AI content and downloaders
- AI posts must show the real girl. AI generated or AI edited content is allowed only if "it clearly features the verified Creator" and is tagged, for example #ai or #AIGenerated. A fully synthetic model who is not the verified creator does not qualify.
- No scraping, no AI training. Nobody may use "any manual or automatic tool or process designed to collect any data or information from Content", or use content to train AI. The clause is written for every user, fans included, so downloader extensions are clearly off limits.
The fee does not move
OnlyFans still takes 20% of each payment to a creator, the same rate as in the 2024 terms. Your tip still leaves her roughly 80% before her own taxes and costs.

Don't put all your girls in one basket
If tighter rules on one site worry you, follow your favorites on more than one platform. On Uncove, creators are verified and many start with a free subscription: fans like Chloe_coquine, Carlamaprof and Emmadeaudouce. Each fiche links to her official page. Comparing options? FAQ
Can OnlyFans freeze a creator's earnings on a single suspicion?
Yes. The new text lets OnlyFans withhold earnings if it thinks a creator "has or may have breached" the terms. The August 2024 version said "seriously or repeatedly breached". No maximum length is set for the review.
What happens to my subscription if a creator is suspended?
During a review OnlyFans may pause, refund or cancel fan payments linked to that account. Nothing in the text promises a refund, so it is decided case by case.
Can I get a refund on an OnlyFans subscription?
The new terms say all subscriptions are non-refundable and that you may not be notified before a renewal. If OnlyFans closes your fan account for breaking the rules, prepaid subscriptions may not be refunded.
Is the OnlyFans fee changing?
No. OnlyFans still takes 20% of each payment to a creator, and the creator keeps the rest.
