How to Delete Your OnlyFans Account: The Steps and What Happens Next

Done with OnlyFans, or just cleaning up your accounts? Deleting a fan account takes about a minute. The part worth two more minutes is what happens to your subscriptions, your wallet and your data.

Quick steps (fan account)

These are the steps wikiHow lists in its guide updated on September 30, 2026. They work in any browser, on a computer or a phone.

1. Log in at onlyfans.com.
2. Click or tap your profile icon.
3. Open Settings.
4. Open Account.
5. Scroll down and select Delete Account.
6. Type the short verification code shown on screen, then confirm with Delete Account.

OnlyFans' own Terms of Use confirm that you can delete your account from the account section of your profile.

Before you hit delete

• Spend or forget your wallet credits. The terms say unused wallet credits are non-refundable.
• Want a copy of your data? The Privacy Policy says you can request a copy of the personal data OnlyFans holds about you. Ask before you delete.
• Cancel anything you are unsure about. Deleting stops renewals anyway, but cancelling first lets you check that nothing is still active.
• Screenshot your receipts if you might need them for your bank later.

What happens after you delete

• No more charges. For fans, the terms say OnlyFans will delete the account within a reasonable time and will not charge any further subscriptions.
• No more access. Once it is deleted, you lose access to the account and to everything you subscribed to.
• No undo. wikiHow notes that a deleted account cannot be reactivated or recovered.
• Some data is kept for a while. The Privacy Policy says data is kept only as long as needed, but legal, financial and tax record keeping can last up to 7 years in some cases.

Did you verify with your face or ID?

If you went through the full ID and selfie check, the Privacy Policy says the third-party provider may keep face recognition data so you can re-verify later without your ID. You can ask OnlyFans to withdraw that consent and delete it, through the privacy contact listed in the policy.

Just want to stop one creator? Unsubscribe instead

You do not need to delete everything to stop paying one page. Open your profile, go to the list of creators you follow, pick the subscription and choose Unsubscribe. You keep access until the paid period ends, and it will not renew.

What about creator accounts?

This guide is for fans. For creators, the terms work differently: the account stays open until every active fan subscription expires, then OnlyFans pays out unpaid earnings and deletes it.

Changing your mind because of the new terms?
